Who Should Enroll: Metal processing personnel, machine shop superintendents, QA managers, heat treating operators and managers, component designers, technicians, marketing writers and individuals without a materials background wishing to better understand the role of materials science. This course provides an understanding of metals, their behavior, how they are selected, and how they are evaluated. This course will show how metals are processed to yield desired properties.

Precautions in Place for this Course:

Hand sanitizer (provided by ASM Houston) will be available upon entry, as well as on the tables at the back of the room.
Canned drinks and bottled water will be available, but there will be no freshly-brewed coffee. Participants are welcome to bring their own drinks.
A boxed lunch will be offered (ham or turkey sandwich). A vegan option is available if requested beforehand.
